Nursery care is provided during all services. The mission of this ministry is to provide loving, safe, clean, and organized care for young children (infants through 3 years old) so that parents are free to focus completely on the Lord during services.
- Transitional Class: It is our desire to have families worshiping the Lord together in the weekly services, to equip parents to flourish in the God given responsibility of discipling their children, and to have children from a young age sit under the expositional preaching of God’s Word. Based on this we warmly welcome all children into the worship along with the rest of the assembly. During our 10:45 am worship service we do provide the option of a transitional class between nursery and the church service for those 2 to 5 years old.
- Sunday Children’s Class: During the weekly Bible Study hour on Sunday at 1:15 pm the children gather for a time of Scripture reading/instruction, learning songs, verse memory, Bible passages and doctrinal catechisms.
- Friday Children’s Club: On the first Friday of every month from 7-8 pm we have a children’s club for ages k4-6th grade during the school year. This time includes games, songs, and Bible lessons.
Regularly there are planned corporate times of evangelism which we call “gathered evangelism” (i.e. new move-in visits, outreach concerts, door-hangers, etc.) Additionally, it is our desire to be constantly evangelizing the lost as we function in our daily lives. We identify this as our “scattered evangelism.” We believe that God sovereignly gives us the opportunity and obligation to spread the gospel to all around us as we are scattered in all walks of life.
