Transitional class: It is our desire to have families worshipping the Lord together in all weekly services, to equip parents to flourish in the God-given responsibility of discipling their children, and to have children from a young age sit under the expositional preaching of God’s word. Therefore, we warmly welcome children into all services along with the rest of the assembly. However, during our 10:45 am worship service, we provide the option of a transitional class for the two to nine-year-old age group.
We have Youth Night from 7-8 pm every other week, all year, for all ages.
Nursery care is provided during all services. The mission of this ministry is to provide loving, safe, and organized care for young children (infants through three-years-old) so that parents are free to focus completely on the Lord during services.
Sunday at 10 am the children (ages 4–9) gather for a time of Scripture reading/instruction, learning songs, verse memory, Bible passages and doctrinal catechisms. A youth group also meets for those 10 and up.
Regularly there are planned corporate times of evangelism which we call “gathered evangelism” (i.e. new move-in visits, outreach concerts, door-hangers, etc.) Additionally, it is our desire to be constantly evangelizing the lost as we function in our daily lives. We identify this as our “scattered evangelism.” We believe that God sovereignly gives us the opportunity and obligation to spread the gospel to all around us as we are scattered in all walks of life.
Every Wednesday we meet at Pastor Kevin’s house for refreshments, fellowship, and interactive Bible study. This is a great time to get to know people better and to be able to ask questions and fellowship around God’s Word.
